22 Mar We Created a New Shopify Website for Made for May Baby Clothes Store
Our team created this brand new ecommerce website on the Shopify platform. Made for May was created with several dozen products, marketing automation emails with MailChimp, popups, blog posts and custom landing pages for online advertising campaigns. Visit the Made for May website to see more.
Creating A Baby Clothes Site in Shopify
This was one of the first sites our team created on Shopify. All of our other ecommerce sites have been created on WordPress using WooCommerce. Shopify was a great platform to create this specific baby clothes store on. The store is focused on sharing and selling handmade baby clothes and girl dresses. The shop is also setup to sell other hand picked baby clothes that the designers recommend to visitors and followers.
Benefits of a Shopify Store
The MD Marketing team loves WordPress and WooCommerce. But we now also love Shopify! For this baby clothes online store, it was a quicker solution and integrated well with Oberlo which is the software used for the other dress product recommendations. WooCommerce can do a similar integration, but the Oberlo Shopify app was more streamlined than the other WooCommerce solutions we tested.
Another benefit to this site was that our less “code savvy” team members could make changes and additions. There is no doubt that Shopify was more simple to use than WordPress WooCommerce. However, there are still plenty of technical “code based” aspects of the site that were used. Overall though, Shopify is a very intuitive and user friendly ecommerce solution for the “non-coders” and coders alike.
